Skipping the details again because it’s pretty easy to find information about Chicago. This was the first time I’d run two marathons less than a year apart and was proud but sore. I entered the lottery while training for St. Louis after a discussion about bucket lists with a friend who had almost died a few months before. Found out I got in less than a week after St. Louis. Not a PR but a cool experience to know that all 40,000+ people there are running the same distance as you. Spectators were amazing, it was fun to run through a city I’d visited dozens of times, and the course was so flat.
